✰ Couture Stars ✰

The Designers

Armani Privé (Giorgio Armani)

Sleek and chic is this season's Armani Prive woman.

Chanel (Karl Lagerfeld)

The new modern; classic tweeds with shimmery fabrics.

Elie Saab

The true beauty of couture. Gowns and cocktail dresses. Beads and Embellishments.

Givenchy (Ricardo Tisci)

Sixties Paris meets modern day gypsies in Italy

Jean Paul Gaultier

Add 100g of 19th century androgyny followed by a tablespoon of rebellious attitude

Maison Martin Margiela

Such an artistic collection but it has the potential to give me nightmares...

Ulyana Sergeenko

Reds and blacks bring to life characters like Dracula and milk maids, all with a very Russian heritage

Valentino (Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri)

Navy blues and floaty materials scream midnight romance

The Models

Sigrid Agren (Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab, Valentino, Armani Prive, Chanel, Dior, Aterlier Versace)

Although Agren started modelling at the age of fourteen, she put it off to finish her studies and has a scientific degree with honours.

Kasia Struss (Elie Saab, Valentino, Armani Prive, Chanel, Dior, Atelier Versace

Vogue Paris names her one of the top 30 models of the decade

Vanessa Axente (Elie Saab, Valentino, Dior)

Is one of the faces of Prada's autumn/winter 2012 campaign.

Nimue Smit (Elie Saab, Valentino, Armani Prive, Dior, Atelier Versace)

Has been the face of Prada, Armani, Burberry and Topshop and worked with a mass of other renowned brands.

Caroline Brasch Nielsen (Elie Saab, Valentino, Armani Prive, Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Dior, Atelier Versace) has ranked her #31 in their top 50 models

Maud Welzen (Elie Saab, Valentino, Giambattista Valli, Dior)

Has walked for Burberry, Christopher Kane, Alexander McQueen, Valetino and Celine, to name a few.

Julia Nobis (Elie Saab, Valentino, Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Dior, Atelier Versace)

She has appeared in Vogue Italia, Interview, LOVE, W Magazine, CFDA and The New York Times Style Magazine among other notable publications.

Front Row

Leslie Mann (Armani Prive, Chanel, Valentino)

The 40 year old comedy actress has a filmography longer than the list of couture shows she attended. With all these film premiers she could get through a lot of couture gowns!

Deborah Francois (Armani Prive and Elie Saab)

This sophisticated French chick starred in her first film at seventeen after which she left school to plunge into her next film project.

Clemence Poesy (Chanel and Valentino)
I think this woman might just be about one of the coolest people alive.

Amanda Seyfried (Valentino)

Seyfried had a modelling career that started at the age of 11 and started her career as an actress at 15, scoring her first film role in 2004 (aged 19) in hit teen movie, Mean Girls.

Katy Perry (Elie Saab, Georges Hobeika, Alexis Mabille, Dior)

Following her divorce in February things seem to have got better and better for Katy and she definitely came out on top in the press.

Keira Knightley (Chanel, Elie Saab)

One of my favourite actresses, Keira Knightley is one of Chanel's most treasured A-list clients.

Marion Cotillard (Dior)

Here is another chic French actress/couture star. Cotillard was the first person to ever win an Academy Award for a French language film for La Vie en Rose in 2007 that also gained her a number of other awards and nominations

Rita Ora (Alexandre Vauthier, Stephane Rolland)

This singer has rose to prominence in the past year and now we know she's hot right now and she's made it big time because she's been wearing couture.

If you comment I'll always love you and we can hang out and bake vegan cupcakes and drink tea and listen to sixties records. Go on, you know you want to...
