11 things about myself

  • Today I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time. I really liked it. I want to watch the film again. I'd also like to read the book soon.
  • I often imagine my life being made into a film with Smiths songs being played constantly in the background.
  • I've been vegan for about a month now.
  • I spend too much time on YouTube watching Smiths concerts.
  • Mango is my favourite fruit
  • I wrote a little book of short stories when I was 5 and I still have them. The main story was about a balloon that flew off into the sky then fell into brambles and burst/died. Cheery for a 5 year-old, I know.
  • I have two guinea pigs, called Alvin and Theodore, like the chipmunks in Alvin and the Chipmunks
  • When I was little my favourite Disney princess was Jasmine from Aladdin. It's probably Belle from Beauty and the Beast now.
  • My favourite book is The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
  • My name is probably the most un-google-able name ever because everyone has the same name as me.
  • I have a hoard fashion magazines.

Versatile Blogger Award

Blythe from Blue Roses nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award. It is a lot simpler than the Liebster Award. Here are the rules:

1. Nominate some other bloggers
2. Let them know you have nominated them
3. Share 7 random facts about yourself
4. Thank the blogger who has nominated you and link back to them in your post
5. Add the Versatile Blogger Award to your post

  • At the moment my favourite song is 'Down In The Tubestation At Midnight' by The Jam.
  • Yesterday I wrote a letter to James Franco and left it with the people at reception of the gallery he did a book signing at yesterday evening.
  • Yesterday I also found the place where I felt really at home: a vintage magazine shop in Soho (my friends had to drag me out but I'm going back asap.)
  • I get obsessed with people and things really easily. I rarely just have a casual interest in something.
  • I'm seeing Johnny Marr live in October and I'm really excited.
  • The most productive thing I've done today is put five CDs onto my iPod and written this blog post.
  • I'm currently working on a zine called 'PRETTY.'
Thank you again to Blythe from Blue Roses.
